With a background in Education, Barb will coach kids and teens to success in a number of different age groups and areas of study. Barb can facilitate students’ learning and motivate their success in the following tracks:

  • ELA for elementary and middle school grades
  • Social studies for grades 7 through 12
  • Regents prepping

College Placement & College Transitioning

When it’s time for your junior or senior high school student to choose a college, sometimes they need more attention than a guidance counselor is able to devote. Your son or daughter may find the choices overwhelming. No matter what the issue, Barb will help identify the best college options, find the right fit for both students and parents, and additionally, offer assistance in managing the transition from high school to college.

Career Planning

Making a decision such as what colleges to apply to or attend can be even harder when your teen doesn’t have a career in mind. Barb can help students on their journey to a career that matches your interests and skills. In some cases, that means finding a college or next step that will help guide them in the right direction. Or maybe they just need a little help defining a pathway to a major. Barb’s ultimate goal is to motivate students to succeed in whatever that decision may be.
