When you and your student begin working with Barbara, she’ll get to know you both and get a sense of your goals, and your student’s passions, objectives, and personality. Don’t worry too much about preparing anything or thinking too hard about what you’re going to say. Just be ready to share.

Where You’d Like to Be

Barbara also likes to meet with parents and students individually, whether she’s tutoring, facilitating college planning, or career planning. There are many options to consider when looking at future plans, such as college, trade school, online learning, and more. By meeting with students and parents, Barb can help students on their pathway to the right next steps for them, and help to facilitate decisions between parents and students.

How You’re Doing

In your follow-up sessions, we will assess academic progress or discuss your progress towards decision-making, and achieving your objectives and goals. We will also assess if there are any adjustments that need to be made in academic curriculums or additional goals that may need to be set along the way to move you closer to the future you want.
